Holy smoke was this place amazing! I might even drive the three hours again to eat here. Let me start by saying the atmosphere and lighting is on point! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Now the FOOD, was incredible and worth every penny! My hubby had the beet salad and a side of Parker rolls, which came out warm! His entree was the strawberry glazed Salmon with fennel Cole slaw and sweet potato hash. I had the pear salad special but substituted goat cheese over the blue cheese crumbles. This has a maple balsamic dressing. My entree was the chicken with cilantro rice and chorizo corn salad. OMG it was all amazing. And please do yourself a favor and get the BlackBerry Sangria!
Very good farm to table restaurant. The sweet potato and corn soup and the were both delicious and well flavored. The polenta cake was very cheesy and good, could use a bit of salt. The grilled cheese sandwich was delicious and the fries were above average. The tofu sandwich was quite well flavored but was a little bit heavy on the bread to filling ratio. Staff was very friendly.

Had an excellent experience tonight while enjoying dinner with a friend. Atmosphere and service was on point. Food was delicious. I drive through the area often, but don't usually stop for food - I would definitely take a break to enjoy a meal here next time I am in the area.
We loved our dinner at Roots. We called for a last minute reservation and were lucky to get a spot on a Friday night! The fondue was a generous and delicious portion, the chicken entree was amazing, service was fabulous, and vibes were high!!! 10/10 time, definitely recommend for anyone in the Killington area!
This is my new favorite travel spot. I wish I was staying in town longer in order to go back! The filet was amazing, the fondue cheese was delicious, and I will ALWAYS REMEMBER the ravioli. Highly recommend this adorable spot. And shout out to Jenna, the most authentic and friendly bartender/waitress I’ve met in a while!
Everything was delicious! My dining partner & I enjoyed the delicious ( vegan) butternut maple soup, the beet & arugula salad & the almond crusted cod with spinach, scallion aioli & diced sweet potatoes. The carrot cake with cream cheese icing is house made & absolutely delicious!

If you're looking for a hidden gem in Rutland this is for you. So glad we stopped. Tucked away off the street behind the Paramount. Clean dining room, well spaced tables, awesome calming decor. Nice clean spacious bathroom.
